Queer culture has given us icon after icon, and we want to see YOU bring them to life. Think Diana (Ross or Princess), George Michael, Frida Kahlo… the list goes on. Or maybe you've got a drag persona of your own that's dying to make an appearance.
This one's all about celebrating queer culture, self-expression and the icons who paved the way. So channel your alter ego, dress to impress and get ready for a night of queer joy, music and dancing 🕺
MATCHSTICK x HOT GIRL BOXING 🥊
For Matchstick Volume III, we're very excited to be partnering with Hot Girl Boxing, a FLINTA boxing club based in East London.
Hot Girl Boxing is all about creating an inclusive, camp and welcoming space for the queer community, challenging the traditionally hyper-masculine world of boxing gyms. It's community, empowerment and a whole lot of queer joy, which is exactly what we're about.
To show our support, we'll be donating proceeds from our Matchstick merchandise on the night. And YES, Matchstick merch is officially on its way… keep your eyes peeled for the big reveal!
HG Boxing will also be hosting their very own Fight Night at The Colour Factory on 21st November, alongside sister gyms from Berlin and Glasgow. We'll be getting involved by donating TWO Matchstick tickets to their raffle, so make sure you check it out.
