🍵 Matcha & Clay 🍵Join us for a special collaboration with Shannon of Live Oak Pottery and Jess of That Matcha Girl for an afternoon filled with creativity, community, and, of course, matcha!
We’ll spend the afternoon learning how to hand-build our very own matcha bowls, or chawan. No pottery experience is needed! Shannon will guide you step-by-step as you create a one-of-a-kind bowl designed to bring the matcha experience home with you.
Once your bowl is finished, Shannon will take it back to her studio to glaze and fire it. Your beautiful, finished chawan will be available for pickup at the Homestead once it’s ready. 🤍
And what’s a matcha-making afternoon without a little matcha magic? 🍵
Jess will be bringing her wonderful matcha bar and will teach us how to properly whisk and prepare matcha at home. You’ll also receive a special gift bag complete with your very own bamboo matcha whisk (chasen), plus you’ll get to choose a specialty matcha drink to enjoy during the event.
Come relax, play, create, and spend a beautiful afternoon with us. We are excited to see the unique bowls you make! 🌿
Limited spots available — we can't wait to create with you!
