Every guest takes home a Kuro matcha tin and set. Entire experience valued at $225.
100% of ticket sales will be donated in full to the Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center, which provides art education therapy for kids in low-income households and with special needs.
A note from the workshop host:
Hi! I’m Ai. My background is in specialty coffee, and my relationship with tea deepened after spending time in Wazuka, Kyoto, where I worked alongside a matcha producer and learned about tea from cultivation and processing to preparation and education.
What I love most about tea is 茶縁 (cha-en), the connections and encounters created through tea. Inspired by wabi-cha, I see matcha as a simple ritual and a reason to slow down, be present with yourself, or share a moment with someone. I hope to create experiences that bring people closer to themselves and each other through tea.
