The evening features Goldmark’s Overture to Sakuntala, Bizet’s lively L’Arlésienne Suite No. 1, Steiner’s iconic Casablanca Suite, and Saint-Saëns’ evocative Piano Concerto No. 5, “Egyptian”.
Acclaimed Canadian pianist Sheng Cai joins the Symphony as featured soloist. Known for his expressive depth and virtuosic command, Sheng Cai has appeared with major orchestras worldwide, including the Toronto Symphony, Shanghai Symphony, and Philharmonie Südwestfalen.
