Join the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music inspired by the simple, familiar moments we hold dearest. Loved ones gathered close around a crackling fire. Neighbors chatting on the porch in golden late-summer twilight. The well-worn pages of a beloved childhood storybook. This program is our love letter to finding heaven in everyday moments.Program:
Strauss's Overture and Dance Scene from Ariadne auf Naxos
Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, featuring soprano Laquita Mitchell
Mahler's Symphony No. 4, featuring soprano Laquita Mitchell
