Masters & Materials: An Ongoing Art Exploration Series
Join us for an evolving journey through art history, one session at a time. Each gathering opens with a short, engaging introduction to a master artist, historical period, or signature technique — from Impressionist brushwork to Cubist perspective, from watercolor traditions to contemporary mixed media. No prior art experience needed.
Following the overview, you'll dive into a hands-on exploration exercise inspired by what we've just learned, experimenting with the featured artist's approach in your own way. It's part art history lesson, part studio time — a chance to understand why the masters worked the way they did by trying it yourself.
All materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity.
