About this Event
Speak with clarity and confidence, 3 hour course
Most people do not struggle to speak because they have nothing to say. They struggle because nerves get in the way and the message is not clear enough. This hands-on workshop deals with both.
You will speak regularly throughout the workshop, using the protocols I teach you, and I will give you feedback each time. You leave with a method you can use in your very next meeting, presentation or conversation.
Who it is for
Anyone who wants to speak with more confidence and clarity: professionals, managers and business owners, people preparing for interviews, pitches or presentations, community and voluntary leaders, students and career changers, and anyone who simply dreads being asked to say a few words. No experience is needed, and it suits you whether you speak often or avoid it.
What you will leave with
- Calmer nerves. Practical ways to settle yourself before and while you speak.
- A clear core message. Know what you want your audience to understand and do.
- A simple structure. Proven frameworks, so your message lands first time.
- A powerful connection. Use the spotlight effect to connect with your audience and reduce your own anxiety.
- Confidence delivering it. Speak often, using the protocols, and get specific, kind feedback from me.
How the 3 hours work
Think clearly to speak effectively. We focus on the 20% of skills that give 80% of the results. Then you speak regularly using the protocols I teach you, and I give you feedback each time. You can also work on your own material, such as your elevator pitch or business pitch.
Your trainer
Like many people, Ashraful Alam knows what it feels like to stand in front of a room and feel that knot in the stomach. Over 16 years as a wealth management professional and business adviser, he learned, through necessity, how to communicate with confidence, clarity and conviction.
He has managed, coached and developed teams in effective communication, sales and presentations, working with people at every level, from those just starting out to seasoned professionals looking to sharpen their edge.
He brings that experience to the room not as a performance coach or a corporate trainer, but as someone who has lived it, learned it, and made it work under pressure.
What previous delegates said
