Master Pancake unspools the DNA of this '90s sci-fi, starring Ethan Hawke as Vincent, a so-called “in-valid” struggling against the discrimination faced by those born without proper genetic engineering. Vincent longs to go to Saturn, but his gene profile won't let him. So when Vincent comes into possession of some donated DNA, he seizes the chance to illegally join the space program and follow his dream to the stars. Will he be discovered? Will he find his future wife in Uma Thurman (co-worker Irene)? And what does Vincent’s DNA donor, Anton (Jude Law), have to say about all of it? Only one way to find out: join the comedians of Master Pancake as we riff the chromosomes out of GATTACA. No stops, cuts, or splices in the movie, as prescribed by the genetic overlords.
