I so appreciated meeting and reconnecting with many new and familiar faces at our last meetup!I’d love to invite all mental health providers to another casual in-person meetup at Craft Food Halls: Cambridge (35 Cambridgepark Drive) on Sunday, November 1st from 12-2 PM.
⏰ ☀️ Please note the earlier 12 PM start time this month! Though, Daylight Saving Time ends that morning, so the clocks will have rolled back an hour overnight, meaning noon may still *feel* more like our usual 1 PM start time. ⏰ ☀️
My hope is for this gathering to continue feeling like a warm, low-pressure space for local mental health providers to connect, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and build supportive professional community over time. Think: casual conversation, organic networking and referrals, shared interests, and getting to know one another more as humans outside of work.
All mental health providers are welcome, including therapists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, prescribers, and related mental health professionals.
GETTING THERE:
• Craft Food Halls is about a 5-minute walk from Alewife T Station on the Red Line
• Bike racks are available for those arriving by bike
• If you’re driving, paid parking is available at the Alewife MBTA garage, just a short walk away, or some nearby metered street parking is free on Sundays (please check posted signs)
We’ll plan to gather outside in the large outdoor seating area if it's warm enough, and if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we'll move indoors.
The venue has confirmed our group is welcome and purchasing food or drinks is optional.
I’ll have a small sign that says “Mental Health Provider Meetup,” and I’ll post in this group the day of with our exact location.
A few notes about the format:
• Please feel free to arrive anytime between 12-12:30 PM
• Around 12:30 PM, we’ll do brief introductions/a light icebreaker
• After that, the space will remain casual and conversational
• Feel free to mingle and move between conversations throughout!
