Spend Halloween night celebrating in the most haunted town in America with an evening of art, music, and masquerade inspired fun at Mooneyham Art. Escape the cold, step inside our historic downtown gallery, and experience a traditional masquerade ball atmosphere surrounded by local creativity and community.Join us from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM for a period themed pre-parade gathering featuring:
• Artwork from more than 30 resident artists displayed throughout the gallery (most artists are published)
• Live music by Cole Tarrant
• A traditional masquerade-inspired atmosphere perfect for Halloween night- free masks while supplies last
• Complimentary hot cocoa/coffee to warm up on a chilly evening
• Eye rolling Oreo cookie bombs and other deserts
• The opportunity to visit with some of your favorite downtown artists and make new friends
• An enriched environment to relax, socialize, and enjoy the festivities before the parade
We will pause during the Halloween parade so guests can enjoy one of Alton's most anticipated traditions. If you purchase artwork during the event, you are welcome to leave your purchases safely at the gallery during the parade and pick them up afterward, making it easy to enjoy the evening without carrying packages through the crowds.
