Teen-age mother, behind-the-scenes supporter of social reform, romantic, and scholar, English writer Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley may be best known as the author of Frankenstein, but there is much more to be learned about her, both personally and psychologically. Re-live the author's process of creation. See how Mary painted her own personal experience with a vivid imagination to build this original and enduring work of science fiction.Program includes a monologue in-character, followed first by a conversation with Mary and then by a Q&A with the presenter. In Frankenstein, Mary Shelley raises ethical questions about applying our scientific knowledge and our social responsibility to the abandoned members of society.
