Before we watch a film about one of America's most beloved poets of the natural world, we're going outside. 🌳On Sunday, November 8, join us for MARY OLIVER: SAVED BY THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD, a beautiful new documentary celebrating the life and work of the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet.
And because Mary Oliver believed so deeply in the power of paying attention to the world around us, we're making an afternoon of it!
In partnership with Indiana Humanities and Noblesville Parks Foundation , we'll begin with a guided walk through Forest Park, featuring poetry, nature, and a little local history as we celebrate the park's 100th anniversary. Then we'll gather at Logan Street Theater to experience the film together.
One of our favorite things about this event? It all started with a community member suggesting the film! It's exactly the kind of collaboration we love — neighbors and local organizations coming together to create something more than just a movie.
