About this Event

Have an idea to address a challenge in your community, but not sure if it's the right solution?

Join us for this session of CFECI's Incubating Impact Series, featuring Tricia D. Teague, CEO & Founder of The Trep School® and Founder of Soar Space Business Center. Tricia is a certified business and personal development coach, speaker, and consultant who has spent years helping entrepreneurs and community leaders turn ideas into sustainable ventures — including through her work with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority's Trep OnTrack Business Bootcamp, which has provided more than $250,000 in seed funding to Danville-area small businesses.

In this hands-on session, Tricia will walk participants through practical approaches to conducting market research on a community problem — helping emerging nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs validate their ideas, understand the needs of the people they hope to serve, and build a stronger foundation before launching a new initiative.

Who should attend: Anyone in the early stages of developing a nonprofit or community-focused initiative, including participants in CFECI's Community Solutions Incubator and anyone exploring how to turn a passion for community impact into meaningful action.

This session is part of CFECI's ongoing Incubating Impact Series, designed to equip emerging changemakers with the tools they need to build effective, sustainable solutions for East Central Illinois.
