Join us at East Village Bookshop (J St location) for a Sunday afternoon celebrating Market Memories Cookbook with authors Georgeanne Brennan and Ann M. Davis—a book about the food, people, seasons, and stories of the beloved Davis Farmers Market.
Georgeanne and Ann will share the story behind Market Memories, followed by a reading and presentation featuring stories and recipes from the book. We’ll finish with an audience Q&A and book signing/reception.
And because a cookbook is best celebrated around food and wine, guests will enjoy wine from Acheson Wine Company and a selection of cheeses from The Rind, including plant-based cheeses.
Come raise a glass, hear the stories behind the recipes, and celebrate the farmers, cooks, and community that have made the Davis Farmers Market such an enduring part of Northern California’s food culture.

Your ticket includes a copy of the Market Memories Cookbook (MSRP: $38.00). Copies of the cookbook will be available for purchase at the event.
If you already have the book purchased elsewhere, admission is $20.
