About this Event
A practical session with Rengie Mendoza on how tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews decide which local businesses to recommend, and what you can do to be one of them. Includes industry trends, networking, Q&A, and lunch. Oct 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
"Market Mastery: GEO and Local Visibility" looks at a shift that is already changing how customers find local businesses. More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google's AI Overviews who to call instead of scrolling through a page of links, and those tools answer with a short list of names. Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is the work of making sure your business is on that list.
Rengie Mendoza will walk through how AI tools gather information about local businesses and what they weigh when deciding who to recommend. You will learn which parts of your online presence carry the most weight, how reviews and consistent business information shape what AI says about you, and why traditional local search still feeds into all of it. The session is hands on, with a way to check how your business shows up today and a short list of the fixes worth making first.
Rengie is a Spring Hill based growth strategist who spent nearly 30 years solving business problems for global brands in finance, legal, pharma, and entertainment before turning that focus to local businesses. He has worked with more than 400 of them, earned over 250,000 Google reviews for his clients, and was named 2025 Man of the Year by the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce.
The event also includes an industry trends briefing, a structured networking round robin, and an extended Q&A so you can get your specific questions answered. Lunch is provided. Thursday, October 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nashville Entrepreneur Center, 41 Peabody Street, Nashville, TN.
