The Laughter Lab is bringing a brand new night of live stand-up comedy to Ilfracombe, and we’re kicking things off with an incredible line-up at The Landmark Theatre this October!Headlining our very first show is the brilliant Mark Steel, one of the most respected names in British comedy. A multi-award-winning comedian, writer and broadcaster, Mark is known for appearances on Have I Got News For You, QI and Mock the Week, as well as his hugely popular BBC Radio 4 series Mark Steel’s in Town.
Joining Mark is Eddy Brimson, a hugely experienced international headline comedian, bestselling author and actor. Eddy’s television credits include EastEnders, Casualty, Silent Witness, Absolutely Fabulous and The Thin Blue Line, and with decades of experience behind him, he’s a powerhouse live performer.
We’re also thrilled to welcome Lou Conran, an award-winning comedian, writer and one of the most highly regarded comperes on the circuit. Voted Best UK Compere at the Comics’ Comic Awards, Lou is a resident host at the legendary Comedy Store in London and has toured alongside Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett and John Bishop. Keeping the whole evening moving will be Luke Honnoraty, three-time South West Comedian of the Year and one of the region’s most popular comedy hosts. Quick-witted, naturally funny and brilliant with a crowd, Luke is the perfect MC for our first night in Ilfracombe.
