Margot Wagner combines elements of folk, indie-rock, americana, and women’s chorus in her songwriting. For this album release concert - Weather Changes - she will be joined by special musical guests.
Margot Wagner’s songs feature lush vocal arrangements, strong melodies, and playful wording. Influenced by the work of Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Gillian Welch, Aimee Mann, and Nick Drake, her songwriting incorporates vivid lyrics and alternative guitar tunings.
Margot Wagner began recording and touring as a singer-songwriter in the early 2000s when she was signed to a small record label in the Midwest. Recent studio albums include The pearl and the magpie (2023) and Letter to the World (2025). Her newest collection of songs, Weather Changes, will be available on streaming services in early October 2026. Margot is currently completing another full-length album of original indie-folk songs that will be released later this fall. Stay tuned!
