We are so excited to serve over 400+ families in the Lucas County area! This holiday season, the Margie Barilla Foundation and Gain Life are joining forces for an unforgettable day dedicated to paying it forward, bringing people together, and making the season brighter.
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, we’re bringing the community together for a celebration filled with giveaways, resources, inspiration, food, recognition, and plenty of smiles!
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST (7:30AM - 8:30AM)
Enjoy some breakfast before our community event and turkey drive! Volunteers will receive a shirt, a meal and thank you bag! Khaki pants and close toed shoes required for volunteers.
KIDS GIVEAWAY (8:30AM- 10:30AM)Get ready for BIG smiles! Enjoy some breakfast, fun characters for kids as we’re giving children the gift of adventure, outdoor fun, and memories they can enjoy long after the holidays. Bikes, Scooters, Jackets, or Shoes for the kiddos!
SENIORS UTILITIES ASSISTANCE (9:30AM-10:30AM)
Must provide disconnection notice of the month of October for utilities assistance and valid ID. Must email a copy of disconnection notice prior to the event to [email protected]. 65+ are eligible, case by case, and you will be contacted if selected.
MEN'S LUNCH & LEARN (11:00 AM - 2:00PM)
An empowering experience created to educate, connect, inspire, and celebrate men in our community!
-CPR and Narcan Training
-Leadership
-Financial Literacy Class and more!

HOLIDAY TURKEY DRIVE (2:00PM- 4:00PM)Let’s make sure more families can gather around the table and enjoy a warm, meaningful holiday meal together. We will notify you when your pickup time will be scheduled.
COMMUNITY HERO AWARDS AND PRESENTATION (6:00PM- 8:00PM)Enjoy great food, valuable learning opportunities, networking, community resources, and special recognition for outstanding men who are making a positive difference.
