Shop the Market at LLC is proud to partner with WanderLinger Restaurant & Brewery to present the artisan market for Mardi Gras at WanderLinger, an unforgettable celebration taking place throughout the WanderLinger and Chattanooga Choo Choo grounds in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Together, our goal is to create one of the region's most exciting annual festivals—a vibrant, family-friendly event inspired by the authentic spirit, traditions, music, cuisine, and culture of New Orleans while creating a one-of-a-kind experience right here in Chattanooga.
This won't be just another festival, it will be a full-day cultural celebration designed to transport guests to the heart of Louisiana. From a parade and lively brass bands to incredible food, local artists, and interactive experiences, visitors will enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors that have made Mardi Gras one of the most celebrated festivals in the world.
Visitors can look forward to an exciting lineup of attractions, including:
🎺 •A lively Second Line Brass Band•
leading traditional New Orleans-style marches throughout the festival.
🎭 •A colorful Mini Mardi Gras Parade• traveling along Station Street, featuring decorated bicycles/wagons/golf carts, festive costumes, beads, umbrellas, live entertainment, and all the excitement that makes Carnival season unforgettable.
👑 •A King Cake Competition• where local bakeries and talented home bakers can compete for bragging rights, alongside plenty of authentic King Cakes available for purchase throughout the day.
🟣🟢🟡 •A vibrant artisan marketplace located in the beautiful Chattanooga Choo Choo Gardens• filled with artists, makers, and specialty vendors who are encouraged to embrace the Mardi Gras spirit by decorating their booths with festive colors, masks, beads, feathers, umbrellas, and creative New Orleans-inspired displays.
🍺 •WanderLinger Restaurant & Brewery• will serve an incredible selection of Mardi Gras-inspired specialty cocktails and New Orleans-influenced beverages from multiple bars throughout the festival, creating an authentic Bourbon Street atmosphere.
🦞 •Food will be one of the festival's biggest attractions•, featuring an outstanding lineup of food trucks serving Cajun, Creole, Southern, and Louisiana-inspired favorites, along with an authentic New Orleans-style crawfish boil prepared the traditional way. Guests can also enjoy jambalaya, gumbo, po'boys, beignets, and many other regional specialties.
🎶 Throughout the day, live entertainment will keep the celebration going with music, dancing, and interactive performances that invite everyone to join the festivities.
Together, Shop the Market at LLC and WanderLinger Restaurant & Brewery hope to establish this as an annual Chattanooga tradition- one that celebrates the history and culture of Mardi Gras while bringing together families, food lovers, artists, musicians, local businesses, and visitors from across the Southeast.
Artists, makers, specialty businesses, bakeries, entertainers, nonprofits, and food vendors are invited to become part of what promises to be one of Chattanooga's most anticipated new annual festivals.
For Shop the Market at LLC founder Robert Davis, this event is especially meaningful. Having spent seven years living in New Orleans, he developed a deep appreciation for the city's rich culture, incredible cuisine, world-renowned music, historic architecture, and the traditions of Mardi Gras and as a chocolatier and chef he is excited to join in on the food fun as well.. That experience has inspired a long-time vision of bringing an authentic taste of New Orleans to Chattanooga while celebrating the creativity, hospitality, and spirit that make Carnival one of the world's most beloved celebrations.
