About this Event
Join us for our regular NavNet+ Forum. Haringey NavNet+ is a free information sharing network that connects the Voluntary and Community Sector in Haringey. The forum is an in-person gathering that allows you to connect with other support workers and colleagues, share information and learn about new groups, organisations and services.
This session will focus on Community Health and we will hear from the Health Champions who are part of the Haringey’s Public Health Partnership.
Health Champions are embedded within grassroots organisations. They champion health improvements, build trust between communities and service providers, and co-design culturally appropriate, inclusive health and wellbeing activities. Their priority areas include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, mental health & isolation, menopause, and the wider determinants of health.
There will also be time for you to network and connect with other attendees to give updates and build collaborations and partnerships. We will end the session by collecting your ideas and suggestions for future forums.
