About this Event
Join us in downtown Portland for the March for Men’s Mental Health, held in recognition of International Men’s Day.
This free community march is focused on raising awareness of men’s mental health and reducing the stigma around seeking help and receiving mental health care.
People are welcome to participate for any reason connected to men’s mental health, including suicide prevention, veterans’ mental health, depression, anxiety, addiction, loneliness, grief, or simply to support the men in their lives.
We’ll gather at Monument Square for a brief opening and several short speakers, then march through downtown Portland and the Old Port before returning to Monument Square.
All are welcome. RSVP is encouraged for planning purposes but not required. No ticket is needed to attend.
Signs are encouraged. Bring a friend and help make men’s mental health visible in Portland.
