March Break Workshop: Donuts and Doodles - A Creative Art Workshop for Kids

Young artists are invited to join the PH1 Studios MINI MAKER SERIES for a fun and interactive parent-and-child creative workshop where art meets delicious treats.

In Donuts & Doodles, children and their grown-ups will explore playful drawing techniques, experiment with a variety of art materials, and create expressive artwork together—all while enjoying a fresh donut treat.

Hosted inside the iconic 401 Richmond, this workshop takes place in one of Toronto’s most vibrant creative spaces. Families are encouraged to explore the building before or after class, with artist-run galleries, studios, and cultural organizations all under one roof.

This relaxed and welcoming session is designed to spark imagination, encourage creativity, and create meaningful moments between children and their caregivers.

Location: PH1 Studios, 401 Richmond St. W, Toronto
Duration: 2 hours

Recommended for: Children ages 5–13

Each ticket includes two participants:
• One child (ages 5–13)
• One adult (18+)

This is a family workshop—adults must participate alongside their child.

• One framed artwork for each participant (caregiver and child) to take home
• A fresh donut treat for each participant
(Please advise us of any dietary restrictions so we can accommodate!)
• A variety of high-quality art materials to explore drawing and mixed-media techniques
• Guidance from professional artists at PH1 Studios

No experience needed—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and love of drawing.
