Explore the meditative power of mantra, vibration, and your own voice in this 90-minute experiential workshop led by Renowned Sacred Sound Leader Angela Hassan.We’ll begin by settling inward with meditation and gentle vocal toning, then explore mantra and japa meditation—the traditional practice of repeating a mantra, often with mala beads. You’ll learn the meaning and purpose of mantra, experience it as a meditation practice, and discover simple ways to weave it into your everyday life.
From there, we’ll bring our voices together through call-and-response chanting, experiencing the rhythm, resonance, and connection that can emerge when we create sound in community.
No singing, chanting, or meditation experience is needed. Your voice does not need to sound a certain way. You’re simply invited to come as you are, participate at your own comfort level, and experience the practice for yourself.
