is excited to announce their 9 Year Anniversary & Annual Funding Drive Kickoff event happening Thursday, October 1st at The Ship!
We will open the doors at 7pm and be night will be hosted by the one and only Brittany Tilander! DJ Mers will be spinning throughout the night and will also feature the return of our Manor Records Family Band that is a mix of various Manor Records artists coming together for one night only to do a set of 10 cover songs.
The night’s purpose is to help us get a big head start in fundraising for our 2027 Record Label Program that gives 10 local Kansas City musicians $2,000 in artist project funding per year.
We will also have a Silent Auction featuring tons of items to bid on from local businesses such as KC Current Tickets, a signed KC Chiefs jersey, free Boulevard Brewing Co Tour, and much more. PLUS the first 100 people in the door get a limited edition Manor Records Koozie from Seen Merch, you can dig our Rolling Record Store, and there will be screen printing from our friends at Shift Rock Vision too!
Its crazy to think that 10 years ago on that date, touring bands Glass Animals & Hinds played one of the very last shows at The Shawnee Manor and a year later we started Manor Records after moving out of that house. Thanks to all who have been apart of the journey throughout the years!
