All are welcome. Activities and supervision will be provided for children attending.
2026 session dates: September 19th, October 17th, November 21st
2027 session dates: February 2oth , April 10th, May 15th
Location: Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba, 609 Erin Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3G 2W1
Meeting schedule:
12:30–1:00 PM | New to the Support Group?
This portion is specifically for caregivers who are new to the group and want to learn the basics about dyslexia and what it can mean for their child. If you’ve attended the support group before, you don’t need to attend this first 30-minute portion, but you are more than welcome to join us! We’re hoping some of our returning families will sign up to help lead the first 30 minutes of one of these sessions. We’ll send out more information about signing up shortly.
1:00–1:15 PM | Break
1:15–2:45 PM | Advocacy & Deeper Discussion
We’ll use this time to dive deeper into personal advocacy, systemic advocacy, current issues, and supporting one another as we navigate the education system.
All sessions are in person and will not be recorded.
