About this Event
About the Event
Vitiligo Allies Manchester, supported by The Vitiligo Society, is hosting a cosy, informal meetup at Salford Quays.
Whether you're living with vitiligo, supporting someone who is, or simply curious about our community, come along for an afternoon of connection. We'll explore the Quayside Makers Market together, enjoy the autumn atmosphere, browse local stalls and vendors, and most importantly, connect with others who understand.
What to Expect
This is a low-pressure, relaxed gathering. There's no obligation to share, no formal agenda—just an opportunity to:
- Meet local people affected by vitiligo and their supporters
- Enjoy a casual walk through the Makers Market
- Have conversations at your own pace
- Be part of a welcoming community
- Get a head start on Christmas shopping! 🎄
You're welcome to come on your own, with family, as a couple, or however feels right for you.
You can stay as long as you feel comfortable - we are likely going to head to a local cafe after exploring the market so you are welcome to join us for a tea or coffee.
We ask that you do book a free ticket so we can share information ahead of the event and know how many people to expect.
The event is being hosted by Reuben (Vitiligo Allies Founder and Vitiligo Society Ambassador), Nirjeet (Vitiligo Allies Founder and Vitiligo Society Ambassador) & Sian (Head of Support Services at The Vitiligo Society) - Pictured together below at the British Association of Dermatologists Conference in June.
