About this Event
Come and explore an important part of Manchester’s industrial past combined with its futuristic present. Let us guide you and your camera around the cobbles, canals, and character of this quirky area.
With the backdrop of Manchester’s glittering skyscrapers of Deansgate Square and New Jackson, you’ll see where Peaky Blinders was filmed and explore the canal banks and railway bridges of the Castlefield conservation area.
You will get the chance to appreciate the ruins of the Roman fort of Mamucium, wander along the Bridgewater Canal and feel inspired by the Castlefield Viaduct. Your photographs will reflect the collision of past and present offered by this stimulating location.
This walk is about more than photography. It’s about creativity, confidence and connection. Many women attend solo and leave with new photography buddies.
Please wear flat, comfortable shoes as there are cobbles and uneven surfaces all over the place.
Exact meet-up details will be sent to ticket holders.
