FIVE YEARS! Who'd have thought it?!Five years ago, Andy and I decided to run a little six-week Rock 'n' Roll course in Barry, just to see how it would go. The plan was simple… if people liked it, we'd keep it going as a regular class.
Well, LOOK AT US NOW!
Five years later, a few changes of venue, a few changes of faces, and a whole lot of dancing… and we're still going strong, with a regularly packed dancefloor and the most amazing atmosphere!
Along the way we've had our fabulous Sunday afternoons, plenty of special events, made some wonderful friendships and built a gorgeous little Rock 'n' Roll community that we're incredibly proud of.
And that's all down to YOU! Whether you've been with us since those first six weeks or only joined us recently, you've helped make Mama D's what it is today.
So we're having a PARTY!
On Tuesday 10th November, we're throwing out the normal class format and turning our Tuesday night into a good old-fashioned Rock 'n' Roll celebration!
🎶 A stroll class to kick things off (no normal beginners or improvers classes this week!)
🎶 Plenty of Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly, Doo Wop and all your favourites to dance the night away.
🎂 I'll bring the birthday cake and party bits!
We'd love everyone to bring a little something for a shared buffet table, if you can.
