Join on the 8th of November for an informative, illustrated talk by Malvern Spa Association’s president Carly Tinkler about the fascinating history of Malvern’s famous Spring Water. The presentation that sold out at Malvern’s popular spring time Well-Dressing Festival is back again by popular demand this time in the central Great Malvern setting of beautiful Elmslie House. Learn the history of Malvern’s picturesque landscape over 1 billion years, including the development of The Water Cure and Malvern’s Well Dressing Festival.
This engaging 2 hour presentation will leave you with knowledge and appreciation for The Malvern Hills and Malvern Water, across 1 Billion Years.
Malvern Spa Association is a small not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers. We aim to work with the community to conserve, protect, restore and enhance Malvern’s spring water heritage.
Our purposes also include ‘increasing individual and collective knowledge of Malvern’s water, promoting the study, conservation, development and awareness of them to help preserve them for future generations’, and ‘preserving and maintaining the historic Malvern Hills’ water traditions, and celebrating the benefits of Malvern water'.
