The Malleshwaram Heritage Walk is a guided, storytelling-led walk that explores one of Bengaluru’s oldest neighbourhoods beyond its well-known identity as a planned suburb. The event focuses on uncovering Malleshwaram’s deeper history, going back to its temple-centred origins, forest landscape, and community life that existed long before modern city planning.Through temples, water bodies, markets, and cultural institutions, the walk connects historical records, local memory, and everyday spaces to show how Malleshwaram evolved into a centre of education, culture, and lived heritage. This event is designed for those who want to understand Bengaluru slowly, thoughtfully, and through stories rooted in place and people.
Please note that the fee is not for access to the site, but rather for the curation of the experience.
