CARPOOL: Orchid Design will provide two minivans

Please sign up or respond to: [email protected] before November 12, 2026
We will meet to carpool at the Alma DMV parking lot before 8:45 Saturday morning, leaving for Pacifica at 9am. Arriving in Pacifica about 10, we’ll visit Shelldance Orchid Gardens (where they have much more than just orchids!) and during the visit, small groups (4-6 people at a time) can split off to also visit Dan Newman’s adjoining Hanging Gardens nursery. We’ll have lunch at Shelldance, then visit Brookside nursery in Menlo Park on our way back home. Upon returning to San Jose, we’ll visit Orchid Design nursery, conveniently located directly across the street from the Alma DMV parking lot!
Lunch will be at picnic tables at Shelldance; bring your own lunch, or potluck to share.
Based on response so far, we expect maybe a dozen people, but we do need to get an accurate count to arrange vans.
Cost will be $15 per person, to cover gas & expenses.
