Malandra Jr., the alias of Italian DJ and producer Simonpietro Malandra, brings a deep classical music background to the world of electronic music. Trained in piano and clarinet, he studied at the Conservatory and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan before earning a master’s degree in electronic music production. His sound blends melody, harmony, rhythm, and powerful basslines, creating sophisticated and immersive underground music. His productions have appeared on respected labels including Diynamic, R&S, Stil Vor Talent, Cocoon, Renaissance, Watergate, and SCI+TEC. He has performed internationally at renowned clubs and festivals, including Tomorrowland and Watergate, while also sharing his knowledge as a teacher at the Tenax Academy.
