Relationships bring us some of our greatest joy, and also some of our deepest frustration. Whether it is a partner, parent, child, friend, coworker, or someone from our past, certain people seem to know exactly how to push our buttons. We may find ourselves caught in blame, replaying old conflicts, wishing they would change, or holding on to resentment long after an interaction is over.This workshop is an opportunity to look more closely at what happens when relationships become difficult. The Work is a simple, powerful process of self-inquiry to question the thoughts, judgments, expectations, and stories that keep us struggling with the people in our lives.
Making peace does not require approving of hurtful behavior. It comes from discovering what becomes possible when we stop waiting for someone else to change before we can be at peace. Through guided inquiry and experiential exercises, we will use the difficult people in our lives as an invitation to greater clarity, freedom, and understanding.
You are welcome to bring the person who drives you crazy, at least in your mind. They do not have to attend.
