An evening of storytelling, wisdom and conversation about creativity and what it means to matter.
About this Event

Our well-being grows when we create, when we connect and when we know that we matter to other people. Decades of research and thousands of human stories tell us that making and mattering are powerful antidotes to overwhelm and disconnection.

Join New York Times bestselling authors Kelly Corrigan (The Middle Place and Tell Me More) and Jennifer Wallace (Never Enough and Mattering) for Making Meaning in the Modern World. Drawing from Kelly's exploration of creativity and making, and Jennifer's analysis and collection of research on the science of mattering, the evening weaves together personal stories and practical wisdom to explore what helps people flourish.

The event features individual talks from each author, an on-stage conversation and a post-event book signing. Books will be available for purchase onsite.

Come celebrate the simple but powerful idea that the lives we build together are shaped by both what we make and by knowing that we matter.

This event is supported by the Walton Family Foundation. Ticket proceeds will go to the Stuyvesant High School Parents' Association.
