Make something hand-made from surprising upcycled materials:
- Select an upcycled base.
- Decorate the base using a huge assortment of upcycled materials such as buttons, plastic tops, old keys, toy pieces, and much more!
- Leave with a unique hand-made creation for you to keep or to give to someone special.
MakerHive is stocked with an ever-changing supply of upcycled materials collected from thrift stores, salvage centers, and people like you! Everything is sorted, cleaned, and ready to inspire your next creation.
Open Studio Details
- Drop in any time and remain for as long as you want.
- Work at your own pace.
- Register ahead or drop in on the day.
- Perfect for ages 5-99. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Spread the word and come with your friends!

Start collecting: Bring any of the following on your next visit:
- Clean plastic bottle tops of all colors (soda bottles, milk containers etc.)
- Small toy pieces (dominoes, checkers, game pieces etc.)
- Holiday decor (fake Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, etc.)
