About this Event
Often referred to as the Woodstock of the Maker Community, the Maker Camp is an immersive, weekend festival for makers of all skill levels, held in the heart of the Catskill Mountains at the Blackthorne Resort.
The camp brings together artists, craftspeople, and curious beginners for hands-on workshops in disciplines like blacksmithing, woodworking, leathercraft, metal fabrication, glass, and more. Attendees learn directly from experienced instructors in fully equipped shops, completing real projects while gaining practical skills they can continue to build on at home.
What makes Maker Camp special isn’t just the craft—it’s the community. Days are spent creating side by side with other passionate makers, and evenings are filled with shared meals, conversations, music, and the kind of connection that happens when people build things together.
