MAKE YOUR OWN HERBAL SIMMER POT BLENDS

Sunday, November 8, 2026

10:30 AM–12:30 PM

Wild Willow Farm |

Franklin, New Hampshire

$45 per person

Limited to 10 participants

Join Community Herbalist Amanda Calkins of Wild Willow Herbals for a cozy, hands-on morning creating your own herbal simmer pot blend just in time for the holiday season.

Simmer pots are made by gently warming aromatic herbs, fruits, spices, and other botanicals in water. As the ingredients simmer, they fill the home with natural fragrance and help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They can also be prepared with intention to bring comfort to the home, mark the changing seasons, welcome guests, support personal rituals, or invite feelings of peace, gratitude, abundance, and protection.

During this workshop, we will explore:

• How to safely prepare and use a simmer pot at home

• The aromatic and traditional qualities of different herbs, fruits, and spices

• Seasonal, comforting, cleansing, festive, and intention-based simmer pot combinations

• How to create a balanced blend using scent, color, texture, and personal intuition

Each participant will handcraft their own blend and go home with one full 8-ounce jar of dried herbs and botanicals for their simmer pot.

Want to create meaningful, handcrafted gifts for the holidays? Participants may make and purchase additional 8-ounce jars during the workshop for $25 each. Ribbon will be available for the additional jars, making them ready to give as thoughtful gifts for:

• Teachers

• Colleagues and coworkers

• Coaches

• Instructors

• Hosts and hostesses

• Friends and family members

• Neighbors

• Caregivers

• Clients or customers

• Volunteers

• Holiday party hosts

• Anyone who could use a little seasonal warmth

No previous herbal experience is needed. All materials and instruction are included.
