Make Your Own Blown Glass Ornament (December)

Work one-on-one with a teaching artist in this 30-minute lesson to make your own ornament in our glassblowing studio! Choose from optical twists and bright, swirling colors to create a festive decoration for the holidays! One registration per person.

What to Expect: After a brief demonstration, you will select your colors and form to create a unique ornament! Safety, color application, and tools will all be covered in a fun and exciting environment. Please arrive a few minutes before your lesson. Teachers reserve the right to adjust your lesson if you are late. The hot shop is a loud studio, and can get quite warm. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page. Eligibility: No previous experience required. Open to ages 14 and up.

Pick-up: The glass needs to cool down overnight, so the students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.

This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.

We recommend registering for classes early to reserve your spot! We base materials, and teacher needs off of student enrollment. Early registration not only guarantees your spot in class, but also helps to ensure the class will run. Classes with low enrollment may be cancelled within two weeks of the start date of class.
