Kinusaiga Fabric Art Class
Discover the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga in this hands on class at Lacey MakerSpace! Kinusaiga is a traditional fabric mosaic technique that uses small pieces of fabric, tucked and layered to create stunning textured designs, originally developed as a way to give new life to old kimono silk.
At the start of class, you'll pick your design from several options available. Then over 3 4 hours, you'll learn the fundamentals of the Kinusaiga process and create your own finished 8x11 piece to take home.
This class is limited to 6 participants, so everyone gets plenty of hands-on guidance. All supplies are included, just bring yourself and your creativity!
