Step into the world of 3D printing with a practical, beginner-friendly workshop designed to take you through the complete journey from digital idea to physical object.Participants will explore how FDM 3D printing works, understand commonly used materials, create or prepare a simple 3D model, and learn how to convert it into a printable file using slicing software.You’ll get hands-on exposure to key settings such as layer height, infill, walls, supports and print orientation, followed by practical printer setup and operation. Real printed samples and common print failures will also be used to understand what affects strength, surface quality and print success.The workshop is led by Soul Shape Studio with practical experience in CAD, manufacturing, product development and desktop 3D printing.Designed for beginners, engineering students, designers, makers and curious creators, this is a small-batch experience focused on learning by doing.Participants will receive workshop reference material and get to experience the complete design-to-print workflow.
