About this Event
Make Games Together (formerly GameDev Together) is a monthly co-working session in Singapore for anyone making or learning about games, run by Game Dev Guild SG. It is not a class or workshop, just a quiet shared space to make progress alongside others doing the same.
What you will do
Bring your current project or start something new. Work on anything to do with games: art, music and sound, writing, programming, design, level building, prototyping, playtesting, production or marketing. Set aside a few hours to build, keep going with the energy of the room, swap knowledge, and maybe meet your next teammate.
No project yet? Start one
You don't need a game in progress to join. Brainstorm ideas, write a short design document, sketch characters, compose a theme, or work through a beginner tutorial in an engine you've wanted to try. You don't need to write a line of code to make progress.
Session flow
- 1pm: Arrivals and quick introductions
- 1:30pm to 5:30pm: Quiet, focused co-working
- 5:30pm: Optional sharing and discussion
- 6pm: Wrap-up and close
What to bring
Your own laptop or device and a charging cable. Come fully charged, as power points may be limited. Guest Wi-Fi is available.
