Making a Will can feel overwhelming, especially for families with disabled children who worry about the future.Date: Monday 12th October until Monday 19th October 2026
Having a Will can provide peace of mind and help protect your family’s future. During Make a Will Week, participating solicitors are offering a free basic Will. You are free to use one of the participating firms or choose any solicitor of your choice.
Make a Will Week is here to help you take the first step with clear information, no pressure, and support along the way. A Will is a legal document that sets out what happens to your money, property and belongings after you die. It allows you to decide who inherits, appoint executors, and name guardians for your children if needed.
Make a Will Week is open to anyone aged 18+ who wants to make or update a Will, especially parents and carers. To claim this free Will, you must enquire below and contact the relevant solicitor between Monday 12th October and Monday 19th October 2026.
A free basic Will usually covers a simple family structure, inheritance wishes, executors, and guardianship arrangements if needed. Any additional costs for more complex circumstances will be explained in advance.
People are invited to make a voluntary donation to support disabled children's charity, We Are Beams, RCN 1054129. Suggested donations are £100 for one Will and £150–£200 for two matching Wills.
