About this Event
Go Batty! Experience basic welding while creating a sculpture of a bat.
Completion of a beginner workshop, such as Zoo 101, is strongly recommended.
In this two-session class, students will learn how to safely operate a MIG welder, make tack welds, bend sheet metal, and use an angle grinder to cut, smooth, and clean metal. The class fee includes bat sculpture kits.
Students who don’t finish are welcome to return on a Sunday by appointment for a nominal fee.
