Get ready for a monster-sized week of FREE family fun in Maidstone town centre this October half term! From Sunday 25 October to Saturday 31 October, giant inflatable monsters will take over the town centre as part of Monster Mash, a free family trail brought to Maidstone by One Maidstone BID.
Follow the monster trail, discover larger-than-life creatures in unexpected places, enjoy monster-themed activities and explore the town centre as it transforms for Halloween.
Keep an eye out for Kevin the Ice Cream Monster, the official Monster Mash mascot and winner of Maidstone's Design a Monster competition. Kevin was created by 7-year-old Mya Edwards, whose colourful ice cream-loving monster captured the judges' imagination and was crowned the winning design.
Selected competition entries will also be brought to life and displayed around the town centre, while every monster design submitted by local residents will feature in a special exhibition at the Creative Maidstone Community Arts Hub.
Whether you're hunting monsters, admiring the artwork or simply looking for a free day out with the family, Monster Mash promises spooky surprises and plenty of fun throughout the week.
