Join us for a mixed-level, beginner-friendly eve — whether you’re brand new to the game, brushing up on the basics, or an experienced player~
Event Schedule
7:00–7:15 PM | Settle In
Settle in and order a drink or snack! Experienced players can get started right away. One table will be reserved as a “hot table”, with a 3-point minimum
7:15–7:30 PM | Mahjong 101
For beginners or anyone wanting a refresher, we will do a quick walkthrough of tiles, rules, and gameplay flow.
7:30–9:00 PM | Open Play
Games begin! We’ll have 4 tables in total, each hosted by a teacher to guide play, answer questions, and support beginners. Players will rotate in and out as tables fill — winners stay on, new challengers jump in each round. Lots of opportunities to watch, learn, and chat between hands!
