Montauk Mahj is heading to NYC! Join us at Primrose for an evening of Mahjong, cocktails, food and good company!
We’re bringing the Montauk Mahj experience from the East End to NYC for a 2½ hour evening at Primrose, including 2 hours of social play American Mahjong in their beautiful new space.
Your ticket includes:
- 2 hours of social open play
- Mahjong tables, tiles and racks
- A Happy Hour cocktail
- A selection of food from Primrose’s Happy Hour menu
- Additional food and beverages available à la carte
- A chance to win a Montauk Mahj Giveaway
- Friendly Montauk Mahj hosts available for occasional reminders or guidance
About the Play
This event is open to players of all levels. Beginners are welcome but should have already completed beginner lessons. Tables will be organized by playing level and pace so everyone can enjoy the game.
NMJL rules will be used. Please bring your current NMJL card. A limited number of cards will be available to borrow.
When registering, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us your playing level and seating requests. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests while organizing tables by level of play.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in, finding your assigned table, and getting settled with food and drinks.
Whether you’ve played with us in Montauk, have been following along from NYC, or are joining us for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you to the table!
Space is limited — reserve your seat early.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward another date. Tickets may be transferred to another player for the same date only.
