FAQS:
I’m not a Mahjong player, can I still attend?
Yes! Players of all skill levels are welcome, however general game knowledge is required. (If you are brand new, we encourage you to attend a Mahjong Class with us on November 2nd from 5-8pm)
Sign up for training (not the actual event): https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0945ADAD2AABFD0-66353323-mahjong#/
I’ve played but I’m a beginner. Will I be sat with advanced players?
We will have tables for all levels but you are welcome to sit where you’d like. We would encourage everyone to find similarly leveled players.
Are there prizes?
Yes! Amazing raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses. One raffle ticket is included in your event ticket purchase. Additional tickets may be purchased at the event.
Can I bring my family?
Each attendee must complete the registration link when available. We ask that this event be 18+ so we can make sure mats and tiles are properly cared for (they are being loaned to the event by our community members).
Food and alcohol?
We are hoping to have sponsors donate options, but we welcome everyone to bring drinks of your choice. We will ask that the food and beverages stay off of the tables to protect the mats and tiles. Time will be built in for breaks between games for snacking.
