🌸 MAHJONG IN BLOOM 🌺An Experience at Selby Botanical Gardens
Pull up a seat among the orchids and banyans. Sarasota Mahjong Club is heading to Selby Gardens for a day of mahjong open play, exploration of the gardens, take in the Orchid exhibit, all while enjoying the sparkling waters of Sarasota Bay. 🌊

Here's how the day is yours to enjoy:
🌺 The Orchid Show 2026 is open daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is included as part of your day with us, no separate ticket needed. This season's exhibition is a collaboration with artist Christian Sampson, blending glass, light, and color installations with Selby's living orchid collection, on display through December 6. Come early and explore at your own pace.

🀄 Mahjong open play runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Event Center overlooking Sarasota Bay, this is the one part of the day with a set schedule.
This gathering is for social and skilled players who are comfortable with the pace of the game, and space is reserved for 40 guests to ensure an intimate experience. Reminder to bring your 2026 card for play.
🌿 Come with your crew and settle in together, or arrive solo and let the tiles introduce you to someone new. Either way, the afternoon is built for connection and a little friendly competition, all set against the beauty of the gardens. You'll leave with a wonderful day behind you, full of good company and new friendships. 🌼
🌺 A couple IMPORTANT things to note:
You will need either a current Selby Gardens annual membership (show it at entry) OR a day pass to the gardens purchased separately online or at the Welcome Center point of entry. (DAY PASS LINK HERE: https://selby.ticketapp.org/portal/product/49)
A ticket to the Orchid Show is included as part of your Sarasota Mahjong Club ticket. (You DO NOT need a separate ticket for the Orchid Show.)
