Make Mahjong part of your Montauk Fall Festival Weekend!
Join Montauk Mahj for a special morning of American Mahjong at The Lighthouse Café, one of Montauk’s most scenic waterfront settings.
Enjoy two hours of hosted Open Play before heading out to enjoy the Fall Festival. Beginners through experienced players are welcome — come on your own or bring your mahj friends. Guided play is available for newer players who know the basics and would like an occasional reminder or a little extra support.
Montauk Mahj guests receive 15% off all food and beverage purchases during the event.
Your ticket includes:
- Two hours of hosted American Mahjong Open Play (10:30 AM–12:30 PM)
- Mahjong sets, racks and mats provided
- Guided play available for newer players
- Hosts available for occasional reminders and guidance
- A fun, welcoming and social morning in a beautiful waterfront setting
A few things to know:
- 🀄 NMJL rules will be used. Please bring your current NMJL card. A limited number of cards will be available to borrow.
- This is Open Play, not a lesson. Players should know the basics of American Mahjong. Newer players who have completed lessons are welcome.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in, seating and ordering food and drinks. Play begins promptly at 10:30 AM.
- Mahjong is played at tables of four. If you're registering with friends, please include your preferred tablemates when you register. We'll do our best to accommodate seating requests while organizing tables by player experience and pace.
Space is limited, so reserve your seat early and spend part of Montauk Fall Festival Weekend playing mahjong by the water!
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward another date. Tickets may be transferred to another player for the same date only.
