Mahjong at the Lighthouse
Join Montauk Mahj for our ongoing Mahjong series at The Lighthouse Café in Montauk.
Enjoy a relaxing morning of American Mahjong in one of Montauk’s most scenic waterfront settings. Montauk Mahj guests receive 15% off all food and beverage purchases during the event.
Your ticket includes:
- Two hours of hosted open play from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Mahjong tables, tiles, and racks
- Friendly hosts available for occasional reminders or guidance
- A welcoming, social atmosphere
NMJL rules will be used. Please bring your current NMJL card. A limited number of cards will be available to borrow.
This event is intended for players who know the basics of American Mahjong. If you’ve completed lessons and are ready to build confidence through play, we’d love to have you join us.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in, seating, and ordering food and drinks. Mahjong play begins promptly at 11:00 AM.
Mahjong is played at tables of four. If you’re registering with friends, please include your preferred tablemates when you register. We’ll do our best to accommodate seating requests while also organizing tables by player level and pace.
Space is limited, so reserve your seat early!
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward another date. Tickets may be transferred to another player for the same date only.
